For some reason, Frostfall was extremely insistent about going sunbathing together. She practically dragged Kitasan Black and Anjing Zhen to the beach operated by the hotel.
Although California Spangle did not actively fan the flames, the eager look on her face made it obvious that she was quite keen on the idea as well.
Perhaps she was used to Japan's social etiquette of not being good at refusing others, or perhaps it was simply her warm and cheerful nature. In any case, Kitasan Black had worn an amused yet slightly hesitant expression the entire way over.
But since they were already here, after telling Anjing Zhen to rest beneath the beach umbrella later, Kitasan Black reluctantly headed into the women's changing room with California Spangle and Frostfall.
Anjing Zhen did not particularly mind coming to the beach for some sunbathing.
He had known from the start that he was merely a little short on rest. All he needed was to find some time to catch up on sleep.
Whether he slept in the room or beneath a beach umbrella made little difference.
If he had to say, the scenery at the beach was indeed better, and the sunshine today was quite nice.
Lying beneath a beach umbrella, spreading out a blanket over the warm sand, and taking a comfortable nap there might even be more conducive to rest.
Once he actually arrived at the beach, simply looking at the scenery made Anjing Zhen feel much better.
Looking up, the distant sea displayed distinct layers of blue, while the stretch of beach closer by looked as though it had been carpeted with fine gold dust.
Stepping on the sand, it felt softer than he had imagined, with a pleasantly grainy sensation like a massage device.
Perhaps for that reason, once his
