After analyzing and deciding on the specific tactics for the Tenno Sho Spring in the Preparation Room, the three of them had lunch at the racecourse's dedicated cafeteria at noon.

Ever since leaving the Preparation Room, Almond Eye had been holding her little notebook. Sometimes she frowned as she thought things over carefully; other times, she hesitantly asked Anjing Zhen questions.
Everything she asked concerned the various details of their preparations that day. As Anjing Zhen patiently explained, he felt quite satisfied.
It was not just now, either. Throughout the day, Almond Eye had asked him plenty of questions like this.
At first, he had not felt it too clearly, but as he answered more and more times, Anjing Zhen gradually realized that Almond Eye was somewhat unwilling to accept the fact that she needed his explanations to understand.
