The stands fell silent for a moment, then cheers surged like a tidal wave through the entire venue.
Many spectators broke into astonished discussion. Over at the challengers' Rest Area, Kitasan Black stared fixedly at Anjing Zhen, her mouth hanging open.
It wasn't as if she had never seen Anjing Zhen demonstrate moves during training.
All kinds of movements that seemed utterly unimaginable to her were completed by her Trainer as easily as eating and drinking.
Afterward, he would act as though nothing had happened and explain the essentials of the movements, the Force Application Technique, and the points to watch out for.
But those demonstrations had been nowhere near as thrilling as the confrontation she had just witnessed.
A light-handed flip over the treadmill, a precise dash through the gap between barbells, a single leap over the treadmill and exercise ball—
Every dangerous move Anjing Zhen made caused her to hold her breath unconsciously, her heartbeat accelerating.
Overwhelmed by tension and shock, she felt as though her heart were about to leap out of her throat. Unable to stop herself, she gasped softly, "Th-that was amazing... Trainers can actually be that incredible?"
"Oh? Little Kita, you didn't know how capable Anjing-kun was?"
An interested voice suddenly came from beside her. Kitasan Black hurriedly looked over and saw Maruzensky stroking her chin, repeatedly nodding toward the field as she chuckled softly.
"It seems your Trainer is far more interesting than we imagined."
Kitasan Black froze. Before she could figure out who "we" referred to or what "interesting" meant, Maruzensky was already smiling as she walked toward the field.
In the arena, Anjing Zhen and Einis Fushin were shaking hands.
As their gazes met, Einis Fushin looked him up and down in surprise and suspicion for a moment, then suddenly grinned.
