While changing into her sneakers, Kitasan Black suddenly heard Grandpa's voice from the living room:
"Little Kita, do you really not need me to arrange an itinerary for you? If you go out now, you'll probably run into a lot of trouble, won't you?"
"Huh? Grandpa?"
Kitasan Black instinctively turned toward the voice and immediately saw Grandpa standing by the entrance, looking at her with concern.
Knowing he was worried that her current fame would attract a lot of fans and possibly cause trouble if she went out, she hurriedly smiled, patted the little bag slung over her shoulder, and pulled out a pair of sunglasses.
"It's okay, I already know how to disguise myself. No one will notice me. Besides, I still feel freer going out to have fun on my own!"
After quickly explaining, she said goodbye to Grandpa and left the house in high spirits, heading toward the subway.
On the subway, Kitasan Black remained cautious the whole way. Besides her sunglasses and sunhat, she held a copy of Flash magazine in front of her face, trying her best to keep a low profile.
Perhaps the disguise worked, or perhaps it was because today was a rest day. Most of the passengers were excitedly chatting with their companions about where they were going later, and in any case, she attracted no attention. She arrived at her destination without a hitch: Motomachi Chinatown.
This was one of Satono Crown's favorite places to visit, and she had brought Kitasan Black here several times before.
Everything here had a distinctly unique style. The buildings, with their upturned eaves and ornate brackets, carried an ancient charm. Numerous bright red lanterns hung along both sides of the street, each with intricate, exquisite woven tassels beneath it.
Nearly
