Walking on the road, Chen Hao finally had the leisure to slowly take in the surrounding scenery, reflecting on the urgency of the past week or so.
A sense of time and space felt utterly different. Just over a week ago, he was still an ordinary nobody, then he was Flying Transmigrated into an Alternate Space-Time, replacing an unlucky bastard who had been knocked unconscious by a piece of Glass.
Fortunately, the Synthesis Panel appeared just in time, changing his life, allowing him to rapidly boost his strength at a critical moment, preventing him from becoming cannon fodder and enhancing his sense of security.
It let his constantly taut nerves slowly relax, giving him the interest to appreciate the unique scenery of this other world.
After walking for over ten minutes, he arrived in front of the Extreme Martial Arts Hall, looking at the familiar gate, yet his state of mind was completely different.
Shaking his head with a smile, he took out his Warrior Certificate, swiped it at the recognition point on the gate, and then strode inside.
Quickly reaching the Third Floor, he found the Training Hall packed with people. Scanning the crowd, he spotted Yang Wu and Tong Yun's group, then walked over with a smile.
Some Senior Trainees of the hall also noticed Chen Hao's presence.
"Chen Hao, over here!" Tong Yun spotted Chen Hao first and hurriedly waved at him.
Tong Yun's greeting also made the others notice Chen Hao walking toward them.
In the eyes of Tong Yun and Yang Wu's group, joy flickered, though their behavior carried a hint of restraint.
Of course, the expressions on the faces of the other group of Senior Trainees weren't so happy; their faces were terrible, with panic and regret flashing through their eyes from time to time.
Seeing the looks on Yang Wu and the others, Chen Hao immediately understood: the news of him becoming a Warrior had already spread among the Senior Trainees.
"Chen Hao, did you really become a Warrior? Yesterday, when we asked the Instructor about your whereabouts, he said you took the Warrior Assessment and passed. We were totally shocked, thought the Instructor was joking," Tong Yun said, still a bit incredulous.
"Just lucky," Chen Hao said with a smile, not showing any pride on his face. "I'm just a step ahead. I believe you guys will definitely pass the next Quasi-Warrior Assessment, and then becoming a Warrior will be a piece of cake."
Seeing that Chen Hao was the same as before, not acting superior, the sense of restraint among the group slowly faded.
Yang Wu stepped forward and patted Chen Hao on the shoulder, his tone somewhat emotional. "I knew your physical fitness was high, but I didn't expect you'd become a Warrior so fast. Looks like your talent really is something special. To celebrate you becoming a Warrior, let's go eat a meal to celebrate."
"Sure, let's call everyone then, my treat!" Chen Hao naturally agreed readily.
"You guys keep practicing for now. The Hall Master called me earlier, not sure what it's about. I'll go see him first."
"Then you'd better hurry over."
"Yeah, don't keep the Hall Master waiting."
At the entrance to the Fourth Floor, Li Bo saw Chen Hao appear, his face beaming with smiles. "It's Chen Hao! Congratulations on becoming a Warrior. The Hall Master is waiting for you inside. Go on in."
"Alright, Li Bo, thanks." Chen Hao nodded at Li Bo and then walked in.
Inside the Training Hall, Jiang Nian was there, practicing his saber technique in the training room. Watching Jiang Nian's saber moves, he gave a slight nod.
Having already perfected his Basic Saber Technique, he could tell at a glance that Jiang Nian's saber art was only a hair's breadth away from Saber Mastery.
With a thought, a Blood Shadow Second-Generation Battle Sword on the weapon rack flew swiftly toward him. He reached out, grabbed the hilt, and slashed the air, shouting, "Hall Master, take this!"
When Chen Hao first came up, Jiang Nian had already noticed him. He had intended to greet him, but didn't expect the other to suddenly charge at him.
Jiang Nian found it secretly amusing. As long as Chen Hao didn't use his Spiritual Thought Master abilities, with both of them being Advanced Warriors, the other couldn't possibly be his match.
But as soon as they clashed, Jiang Nian realized how naive he was. The power carried in the opponent's blade didn't exceed his own, yet every move from Chen Hao was like an antelope hanging its horns—elusive and graceful—making his own strikes extremely awkward.
Every one of Chen Hao's moves seemed to target his weaknesses, often forcing him to abort his techniques midway. The more Jiang Nian fought, the more frustrated he became, and the stifling feeling in his heart grew stronger.
Finally, with a low roar, he unleashed a single, unrestrained slash, as if venting all his pent-up frustration.
Chen Hao, meanwhile, withdrew his blade and stepped back. Jiang Nian examined the battle sword in his hand and burst into hearty laughter: "How refreshing! I never thought my saber art, which hadn't progressed in years, would finally break through today."
Then he sincerely thanked Chen Hao: "Thank you, Chen Hao. If it weren't for you just now, I don't know how much longer it would have taken me to step into the realm of Saber Mastery."
Chen Hao didn't take the credit: "Actually, this is all because you, Hall Master, have been building up your foundation over the years. It has little to do with me. Even without me, I reckon you would have broken through in a short time anyway."
Jiang Nian scoffed at himself: "It's not that easy. I know my own situation. I've been stuck at this step for years. It seems a comfortable life really isn't suitable for a Warrior."
Then he brightened up again: "With this breakthrough, I now have hope of breaking through to the War General rank. Speaking of which, how did your saber art become so powerful? I'd say it's at least at the Mastery level, right?"
Chen Hao rubbed the fuzz on his chin: "Maybe I'm just a bit more perceptive. It's nothing special, I only just entered Mastery not long ago."
Jiang Nian rolled his eyes. "Listening to you talk makes me want to hit you. You're just messing with me. I called you earlier, but you didn't pick up. I mainly wanted to ask if you had any Warrior Squad you wanted to join. I could help you get in touch."
Chen Hao shook his head: "I haven't thought about joining a Warrior Squad. Zhuge Supervisor just asked me the same thing. I told him I plan to train alone in the Wilderness Zone. If I follow a squad, the training effect would probably be greatly diminished. So Zhuge Supervisor actually agreed with me going solo."
Jiang Nian's eyes widened. "Training in the Wilderness Zone is no simple matter. Not only are there dangerous Advanced Monsters there, but also plenty of scumbags with ulterior motives. One misstep and you could stumble badly... Going it alone is extremely dangerous!"
Chen Hao laughed at this: "Hall Master, have you forgotten my other identity? If anyone really has no eyes, I wouldn't mind teaching them how to be a Warrior who follows the rules." As he spoke, a cold glint flashed in his eyes.
Hearing Chen Hao's words, Jiang Nian chuckled wryly: "True. You Spiritual Thought Masters are naturally strong in danger premonition, and with your Spiritual Thought Master strength already at the Mid-level War General rank, you can use Object-Flying. Anyone trying to ambush you would probably suffer a huge loss. I wonder which unlucky squad will be the first to fall into your hands."
Chen Hao grinned and retorted: "Hall Master, that's not my fault. I'm just acting in self-defense. If I do make a move, I'll just be cleaning up the scum in the Wilderness Zone. It's actually a good thing for everyone."
Jiang Nian laughed too: "You're not wrong. Your strength now surpasses mine, so I can't judge you by ordinary standards. No wonder Zhuge Supervisor approved of you training alone."
"Maybe Zhuge Supervisor thinks the same way. By the way, I'm having dinner tonight with Yang Wu, Tong Yun, Luo Feng, and a few others. Are you coming?"
Jiang Nian shook his head: "You youngsters are getting together to celebrate. I won't butt in, or else some people might not be able to relax."
Chen Hao didn't insist and took his leave: "Alright then, I'll head down and find them now."
Jiang Nian waved him off: "Go on. I just broke through in my saber art, so I need to consolidate my realm. I won't see you out. Have fun."
