Xiao Ran wasn't close to Xu Pan, but Wang Meng knew her.
He'd just come back from a trip through Wang Meng's memories, so Xu Pan's baby face had left a deep impression on him.
The woman in front of him had a completely different face shape from Xu Pan.
Looks could change, but unless someone had surgery, their face shape couldn't be changed.
"What's wrong?"
Sister Xu looked at Xiao Ran.
"Um... my bed..."
Xiao Ran pointed to the partition on the west side, looking uncertain about which bed he should sleep in.
"Oh, I see. You can sleep in the innermost one."
"Okay."
Xiao Ran went over to take a look. The room was simple, but at least it had a decent amount of space. He wouldn't have much privacy, but it offered a little psychological comfort.
After checking it out, Xiao Ran lay down and rested.
Just as Yang Kai had said, staying in this dorm made him feel much more secure. Xiao Ran slept comfortably through the night.
He didn't wake until the next morning, when the class bell rang.
Following Yang Kai meant he didn't need to worry about the Campus Badges. Once his underlings finished class, they would hand over some of the badges they'd collected that day.
When Xiao Ran got up, Yang Kai had already arranged breakfast.
It was all food from the campus cafeteria.
Xiao Ran glanced at Sister Xu. Seeing her eating a steamed bun, he didn't hold back. He sat down and dug in.
The moment he took a bite, Xiao Ran frowned. He glanced up at Sister Xu, then bent his head and kept eating.
Yang Kai ate beside him, occasionally shifting around in his seat. It was clear he'd been put through the wringer the night before.
