Taking the Day Off to See a Doctor-No Update Today

I mentioned before that I had a boil the size of an egg under my arm. Today, the damn thing went into overdrive. It hurt so much I couldn't lift my arm, and I couldn't even sleep.

I wanted to get it checked out, but my regular doctor had gone to another location to see patients and wouldn't be back until Thursday at the earliest. What a pain!

But I couldn't wait for the doctor. The thing burst on its own.

I was lying in bed, thinking I'd put on some ointment to ease the pain, when I caught a whiff of something that smelled even worse than Wang Zhihe stinky tofu. I thought, But I showered last night. How could I smell this bad?

I called my wife over to take a look. Well, would you believe it? It had burst.

I asked my wife to squeeze it, and the pain made me see stars. I was bawling and carrying on. I've never felt pain like that in my life...

I gave it a quick clean and dabbed on some iodine, but there's still a lot inside the lump. Now I can only head to the hospital and go to the emergency department.

I might need a surgical debridement. Wish me luck, everyone.
