Ch. 264Jigen: I Heard the Call of a God
Jigen heard a voice he believed came from Otsutsuki Shibai and followed its guidance to a hidden underground lake. He plunged into its strange depths, convinced he was approaching godhood, while two unknown figures appeared in his eyes.
- Jigen heard a vision of Otsutsuki Shibai repeating the titles “God of Lost Hearts,” “Eternal Screamer,” and “Father of Demons,” and believed Shibai had become a god.
- Jigen sensed that the voice came from the moon and decided to settle his thousand-year-old grudge against Kaguya.
- Jigen followed the voice’s guidance through ancient ruins to a cavern with a pale blue lake guarded by floating bubbles.
- Jigen used Sukuna-Hikona to shrink the bubbles and dove into the lake, whose water grew dark red and gelatinous as he descended.
- Jigen heard Shibai’s voice again, pressed onward, and had two unknown figures reflected in his pupils.
