Chapter Summaries

Caesar struggled with the decision to sacrifice the city’s millions to stop the summoning, while Chu Zihang set out alone to rescue Xia Mi and Nono at the Pantheon. After finding the ritual underway, Chu Zihang revealed himself and prepared to fight the bishop, who appeared to be expecting him.

• Caesar finished loading five magazines, and Chu Zihang urged him to stop the ritual because otherwise more people would die.
• Chu Zihang left Caesar before the midnight summoning and raced through the rain toward the Pantheon.
• Chu Zihang infiltrated the Pantheon and found Xia Mi and Nono bound and wounded among the cultists preparing the summoning ritual.
• The bishop arrived and declared that The Nameless would soon break free; he then tried to kill Chen Motong.
• Chu Zihang threw a broken blade into the bishop’s hand, revealed himself, and landed in the ritual hall alone.
• Chu Zihang opened Seven Deadly Sins and drew the enormous blade Wrath as he prepared to fight the bishop.

Chu Zihang fought Pompeii Gattuso, who revealed himself as Odin, but was defeated after Pompeii attacked him with Gungnir. As the yellow-robed saints moved to seize Chu Zihang, Lu Mingfei arrived, took up Wrath and Lust, and confronted Pompeii.

• Chu Zihang wounded Pompeii and forced him to reveal his face, then learned that Pompeii was Odin and that Chu Tianjiao had died.
• Pompeii summoned Gungnir and struck Chu Zihang with lightning, leaving him unconscious.
• Pompeii revealed that Xia Mi was Jörmungandr, King of Earth and Mountains, and wounded her while she was restrained.

Lu Mingfei confronted Pompeii in the Pantheon, revealing overwhelming power and using the Seven Deadly Sins to execute him. After transforming and overpowering Pompeii, Lu Mingfei began delivering the swords’ final judgment, leaving the execution nearly complete.

• Lu Mingfei declared that he had returned, while Pompeii recognized him as the descendant of the fallen Black King and realized he had not regained his complete power.
• Lu Mingfei destroyed the bronze case holding the Seven Deadly Sins and activated their Sin and Punishment domain against Pompeii.

Pompeii summoned Leviathan in Greenland and killed it to absorb its power, while Zaratul observed him advancing to Sequence Three. At Cassell, Schneider showed the students footage confirming Pompeii had devoured the Sea King and Water King, leaving them to confront the scale of his new power.

• Anger told Nicholas Flamel he intended to remove the Board of Directors and establish a Twilight Council, using the Vatican and unified religious doctrines to govern Mixed-bloods after the Dragon Clan era ended.
• Anger left for the battlefield, and Nicholas followed him into the rain.

Lu Mingfei, Xia Mi, and Chu Zihang attacked Pompeii together, but he quickly defeated them and left Lu Mingfei pinned by Gungnir. Lu Mingze appeared at Lu Mingfei’s side and began a 100% fusion with him, declaring that he would become a Super Saiyan and defeat Pompeii.

• Xia Mi, Chu Zihang, and Lu Mingfei combined their attacks, and Xia Mi’s strike briefly injured Pompeii.
• Pompeii healed himself, impaled Lu Mingfei with Gungnir, and severely wounded Xia Mi and Chu Zihang.

After Lu Mingze left for the Sea of Stars, Lu Mingfei woke from a week-long coma and returned to a recovering Cassell College. There, he learned that Xia Mi had survived, Chu Tianjiao had returned, and he was reunited with his mother, Jovian.

• Lu Mingze told Lu Mingfei he had asked Mr. Adam to take him away, explaining that he could not remain in the world after giving Lu Mingfei his Power and Authority.
• Lu Mingfei woke in the sanatorium, realized his bond with Lu Mingze had vanished, and resolved to wait for him to return.
• Lu Mingfei learned from Caesar that he had been unconscious for a week while students cleared the destruction at Cassell College.
• Lu Mingfei encountered Chu Zihang and Xia Mi, who had survived and become a couple after Xia Mi lost the Dragon King's power.

They confronted the mad King of Angels, and Adam unleashed the Dragon Kings’ combined powers to attack it as Uchiha Sōgetsu prepared to act.

• Uchiha Sōgetsu returned to the Hokage World with Adam, but they could not locate the Virtual Persona he had left behind.
• Uchiha Sōgetsu guessed that the missing Adam had hidden inside Groselle's Travels and decided to investigate God's Sin on the moon.

Uchiha Sōgetsu returned to Konoha with Eriyi after sealing God's Sin in a Dream Maze, arriving during the Chunin Exam era. When Gaara attacked Eriyi over her pitying gaze, a young Uchiha kunoichi intervened and revealed herself as Konoha’s celebrated genius, Second Pillar.

• Uchiha Sōgetsu told Adam that God's Sin should remain sealed for at least a few years, then decided to return to Earth with him.
