The snake demon let out a horrible shriek. The bone sword rose again and plunged straight into the head on its left side, lodging between the bones and becoming impossible to move.

The snake demon howled miserably. Its enormous tail slammed against the ground, then swept wildly like a gale, striking the Yellow-bearded Middle-aged Man before he could dodge and sending him flying.

The Black-haired Daoist's face was as pale as gold paper. He bit down hard and spat out a mouthful of heart's blood. It landed on his fingertips and shone with a glimmer of light. He shouted, "Fall!"
