In the vast, desolate forest, Xu Yi and Dongfang Tuo faced off against a yellow-spotted tiger, over ten feet long and gaunt as a skeleton.
The yellow-spotted tiger had nothing particularly remarkable about it, except for the golden tusk extending from its enormous, blood-red jaws. The tusk glimmered faintly like a sword, and on closer inspection, one could make out mysterious patterns hidden across its surface.
As fate would have it, when Xu Yi activated the Raging Wind Talisman, he knew that the disturbance in spiritual energy would inevitably trigger a chain reaction in the low-hanging crimson energy clouds above. So he had already brought out the Exquisite Pagoda and raised its protective barrier.
Sure enough, activating the Raging Wind Talisman set off a chain reaction, and the crimson clouds released their red energy.
