This Book's Worldbuilding Won't Force a Connection to Any Famous Classic

It's a new world, unrelated to Journey to the West or Investiture of the Gods. But since it draws on primeval mythology, it's bound to cast shadows of those classic works of myth and fantasy. The book will inevitably reflect and borrow from them, but it'll have its own complete worldbuilding. There's still a long way to go, so take your time reading.
