"What, is there something else?"
Second Young Master Chu shot Xu Yi a sidelong glance.
Xu Yi said, "There's a small matter I'd like to ask Dean Chu about. Second Young Master, please wait a moment."
The Silver-haired Elder said in a low voice, "If you have business, take it up with Zixuan. I'm busy, so I won't keep you company. Zixuan, see them out."
"Yes!"
Second Young Master Chu replied, then pointed toward the entrance. "You two, please leave. Angering my uncle won't do you any good. I'm sure you can work out the cost of this."
Bai Jizi sent Xu Yi a voice transmission. "Don't act rashly. Dean Chu's status and standing are no small matter."
Xu Yi said, "I wouldn't dare anger Dean Chu. It's just that I never knew Second Young Master Chu had a habit of claiming other people as his uncle. I wonder what the real Dean Chu would think if he found out Second Young Master Chu could call any Tom, Dick, or Harry his uncle?"
Second Young Master Chu, the Scarlet Robe Middle-aged Man, and the Silver-haired Elder all looked startled and suspicious.
Bai Jizi suddenly understood, though he had no idea how Xu Yi had seen through the trick. My employer really is astonishingly shrewd.
"You've met my uncle?"
Second Young Master Chu's face darkened.
Xu Yi smiled. "So Brother Chu admits it. For the dignified Second Young Master Chu to swindle people—word of that would hardly do your reputation any good."
"What a joke! What swindle? You two failed to curry favor with our young master, so now you're spreading rumors and making trouble. Get out! Both of you, get out!"
The Scarlet Robe Middle-aged Man barked coldly.
Second Young Master Chu burst out laughing, his aura swelling. "Well said!
