Xu Yi's idea that the little wolfdog might devour anomalous cores had come from the example he'd witnessed that day, when a White Core Strange Beast successfully advanced by consuming one.
The little wolfdog woke after only two hours. Xu Yi continued to tease and provoke him. Once the little wolfdog had drunk the spirit liquid, Xu Yi followed it up with an anomalous core. He repeated the experiment over and over.
