The plot was more or less mapped out, and the story would have a perfect ending in about seven or eight more chapters. I hoped to wrap it up perfectly, but I'd be writing slowly while planning my new book, so I hoped you'd bear with me. I was truly sorry, and I hoped you'd forgive me.
