It's finished—nearly eight million characters.
It's a little bittersweet. I entered the field in 2012, and it's been almost ten years. This is the first time I've managed to finish a book properly.
I've only written two books. The previous one was an official novel, and I signed a contract as a Great God author. Just as it was gaining momentum, it got banned.
After that, I started this one.
All in all, this book really didn't do well, but I still stuck with it and gave it a proper ending.
I believe this ending should make for a happy reunion.
Speaking of the ending, the final urban arc deserves a mention.
More than anything, I hope Xu Yi can also find his own dazzling life in the real world.
Call it a stroke of genius or a botched attempt to extend the story, either way, it's finally complete.
It's been more than six years. By my count, it spanned seven calendar years.
When I started writing, my kid was still in their mother's belly. Now they're almost ready for first grade.
I'm really unhappy with my writing pace, and I'll make sure to adjust in the future.
