Ch. 1875Reminiscing (6)

Xu Yi subdued Azure Pine Master and let the Green Demon King reveal that they had met eight hundred years earlier, when the master had destroyed his former body. The revelation exposed the origins of the war between the Demon Race and the Green Demons, and the West Sea Demon King recognized the Green Demon King as King Tianshui.

  • Xu Yi dismissed Azure Pine Master's pleas and reminded him that he had already asked every question he needed answered.
  • Azure Pine Master resigned himself to Xu Yi's control and realized the Green Demon King was an old acquaintance.

Ch. 1876Popularizing Knowledge

Xu Yi kept Azure Pine Master alive and learned how to refine the Starry Sky Token, while the others worried about the dangers he posed. After refining it, Xu Yi asked Azure Pine Master to explain his Exotic Soul, but Azure Pine Master urged him to focus on using the token.

  • The Holy Lord urged Xu Yi not to kill Azure Pine Master yet, and rebuked the Third Holy Son for speaking out of jealousy and fear.
  • Xu Yi reassured the gathered cultivators that he could handle Azure Pine Master, then asked him about the other worlds and the Starry Sky Token.

  • Xu Yi carefully refined the Starry Sky Token with a wisp of his soul and a drop of blood, establishing a connection to it.
  • Xu Yi asked Azure Pine Master to explain his Exotic Soul, and Azure Pine Master said Xu Yi would learn more after entering the Four Continents.

Ch. 1877We've Arrived

Xu Yi and Azure Pine Master reached the Star Shuttle’s main cabin as it crossed into the realm of the Four Continents, causing spatial treasures to burst and their contents to spill out. Xu Yi stopped the crowded passengers from fighting over the scattered resources, and the Star Shuttle crash-landed with its gates opening onto a sunlit world.

  • Xu Yi memorized Azure Pine Master’s method for controlling the Star Shuttle and asked him about the passage of time between worlds.
  • The Star Shuttle coalesced, revealed a star-filled expanse, and approached the boundary of space and time.
  • Azure Pine Master warned Xu Yi that spatial treasures could burst when they crossed into the Four Continents, but Xu Yi vanished into the crossing before he could finish warning everyone.
  • The passengers and their spatial treasures spilled into a cramped space, and Xu Yi threatened to release Azure Pine Master unless everyone stopped fighting over the scattered resources.
  • The sect leaders and demon kings brought their groups under control, and the Star Shuttle crashed to the ground as its gates opened onto a sunny landscape.

Ch. 1878Immortal Destiny Trial (7)

Xu Yi and the others left the damaged Star Shuttle and entered the Immortal Destiny Realm, where cultivators from four worlds were gathered for a trial. He reached the Immortal Destiny Hall’s exchange system and began investigating why its values differed from those in his former world.

  • Xu Yi ordered the Four Seas Demon Race, the Green Demons, and the human race to leave the Star Shuttle in groups, then sent Yan Zi, A Li, and Qiu Wa ahead.
  • Yan Zi called out that they were in a trial ground, so Xu Yi left the Star Shuttle and used the Starry Sky Token to take in the damaged vessel.
  • Xu Yi found cultivators from three other worlds standing still, then learned through words appearing in his mind that they were in the Immortal Destiny Realm.
  • Xu Yi and the other Immortal Destiny Users rushed to the Immortal Destiny Hall, where Xu Yi was transported to a chamber containing a Blue Crystal Stone exchange system.
  • Xu Yi appraised his treasures and found that Origin Pearls and certain Precious Medicines had exchange value, while Spirit Stones and many other resources did not.
  • Azure Pine Master urged Xu Yi to examine how the Four Continents World’s spiritual energy differed from that of the Northern Sacred Court World.

Ch. 1879A World of Rules

Xu Yi learned that the Four Continents' abundant spiritual energy and rules explained why cultivation worked differently from his home world, then chose a storage bracelet and a Soul Locking Bottle from the exchange list. When he tried to move Azure Pine Master into the bottle, the soul broke free and entered Xu Yi's spiritual platform.

  • Xu Yi learned from Azure Pine Master that Core Pills served as currency and that absorbing spiritual energy would replace his Soul Embryo essence and let him advance through this world's cultivation stages.
  • Xu Yi absorbed enough spiritual energy to replace all the essence in his Qi Sea, then discovered that he could no longer release his divine sense.
  • Xu Yi rejected the costly Starry Sky Ring and exchanged Precious Medicine for several storage bracelets, using them to store his treasures.
  • Xu Yi tested a talisman and watched it dissolve into green smoke without drawing on the world's spiritual energy.
  • Xu Yi exchanged for a Soul Locking Bottle and loosened the Soul-Summoning Banner's restrictions, but Azure Pine Master's soul burst free and entered Xu Yi's spiritual platform.

Ch. 1880The Heavenly Dao Rules

  • Xu Yi summoned the Chiwu Worm, which swallowed Azure Pine Master’s soul, while Xu Yi punished the worm for indulging in the meal.
  • Xu Yi put away the Soul-Summoning Banner and arrived in an open area where Yan Zi, Qiu Wa, A Li, and others were waiting.
  • Xu Yi learned that entrants could leave through the black door or accept a trial through the white door, and that the Heavenly Dao Rules would seal the cultivation of those who failed to meet their requirements.
  • Xu Yi learned that surviving the trial could earn spiritual liquid and an Ascension Token, which was necessary for joining an Immortal Sect.
  • Elder Bai told Xu Yi he had come to say goodbye, and Xu Yi realized the uncultivated elder was unlikely to obtain an Ascension Token or survive the trial.

  • Xu Yi promised Qiu Wa a three-day outing if she evaded A Li's tracking, and the group entered the white palace doors before being teleported apart.
  • Xu Yi found himself in a grassy field, sensed A Li and exchanged their directions, then struck an invisible barrier while traveling west.

Ch. 1883The Tragedy Narrowly Averted

  • Xu Yi told the group to flee and directed Qin Qing and Yinqiu toward the river, then left to draw the three remaining hunters after him.
  • The Long-faced Hunter, the Red-faced Hunter, and the Long-bearded Hunter pursued Xu Yi and began to outpace him.

Ch. 1885Immortal Destiny Hunter

  • Xu Yi plunged into the river to escape the three hunters, but the Long-faced Hunter used the Water Machine to track him underwater.

Xu Yi questioned three hunters about the Northern World, its strict Heavenly Dao Rules, and the Ascension Token, then sent them to investigate a pillar of light. A Li controlled the hunters with Water Source Marks, but the Long-bearded Hunter returned with a golden spirit tablet while a giant hunter pursued him.

  • Xu Yi demanded the hunters answer his questions and learned that the Heavenly Dao Rules prevented even powerful cultivators from examining another person's spiritual platform.
  • The Long-bearded Hunter explained that Wufeng Country was a mortal country in the Northern Kuluzhou World, and that failed sect disciples often became impoverished rogue cultivators unable to leave the country.
  • Words about the Ascension Token appeared in Xu Yi's mind, outlining how its holders could enter immortal sects, and a pillar of light appeared three hundred li to the southwest.
  • Xu Yi ordered the three hunters to investigate, while A Li used Water Source Marks to control them and punish the Red-faced Hunter when he tried to flee.

  • Xu Yi found a Spirit Nurturing Pill in Jing Chun’s storage bracelet and made the suffering hunters identify it.
  • Jing Chun explained that Spirit Nurturing Pills convert spiritual energy into gold but require a strong soul and body, while Rogue Cultivators relied on less effective Spirit Nurturing Powder.
  • Xu Yi ordered everyone to hand over their Spirit Nurturing Powder and learned the Spirit Storage Art from Jing Chun.
  • Xu Yi swallowed a dose of Spirit Nurturing Powder and found that it strengthened his spiritual energy without causing the pain Jing Chun had described.
  • Xu Yi took another dose and asked Jing Chun how to use the Demon Testing Disc and whether it had attracted great demons in Wufeng Country.

Ch. 1892Breakthrough

Jing Chun explained how the Demon Testing Disc detected Mysterious Monsters and described the strength of his earth-element Wall Shield Technique and the principles of Domains. After learning that Spirit Nurturing Great Perfection could produce Domains, Xu Yi experienced a breakthrough and unleashed a powerful Sword Qi.

  • Jing Chun explained that the Demon Testing Disc detected spirits of heaven and earth, and that great demons in the Ten Eastern Kingdoms could not disguise themselves as humans below the Illusory Form realm.
  • Xu Yi took another dose of Spirit Nurturing Powder and asked Jing Chun about his powerful earthen wall, which Jing Chun said was formed from pure earth element and could withstand attacks weaker than a second-level Domain.
  • Old Su explained that Domain Sources determined a Domain's level and that combined attacks could form one.
  • Xu Yi reacted to Old Su's explanation with a burst of white Qi, and Jing Chun recognized his transformation as Four-turn Reincarnation.
  • Xu Yi swallowed a Spirit Nurturing Pill and cultivated as A Li kept the others from disturbing him.
