The Primordial Celestial Venerable Personally Imparts the Dao, Naming the Twelve Holy True Ones

While many changes were unfolding within the Soaring Heavens Palace, an uninvited guest came to the mountain. His expression was gentle and compassionate. It was Amitabha Buddha. Before even reaching the foot of the mountain, he pressed his palms together and spoke in a calm, measured voice. "Namo. I am Amitabha, a monk who practices beneath the Bodhi Tree. I have come to see the Dao Ancestors."

At that time, the Three Pure Dao Ancestors were playing a game of Go. Supreme Pure Spirit Treasure Celestial Venerable said, "Tai Shang, your disciple Xuan Du is in trouble."

"He's come to complain to his elders."

"What do you intend to do?"

He casually picked up a piece and set it on the board. Sword Qi faintly flowed and shifted around it. The Three Pure Dao Ancestors all knew that, because of what had happened earlier, Amitabha Buddha had used a technique of Karma, only to be noticed and blocked by Yuqing Primordial Celestial Venerable. Yuqing Primordial Celestial Venerable raised his eyes slightly and said evenly, "There is cause, and there is effect. It is not a bad thing. If Xuan Du were not as fierce as fire, he might have reached the level of [Reigning over the Nine Heavens]; he would not have lingered in the Great Pinnacle for so long. As I see it, we should simply stand by and watch, letting Xuan Du undergo a tribulation as well. It will temper his nature and state of mind, and perhaps one day he will reach even greater heights."

"He brought this trouble upon himself."

Primordial Celestial Venerable said calmly, "Amitabha has already come. Since he has shown
