Qi WuHuo murmured, recalling the vast scene the Emperor End-Tribulation Celestial Venerable had just shown him. It was magnificent and majestic, just as the calamity's destruction was vaguely described in the Daoist canon, and just as the Buddhist school had foretold the path of Formation, Stasis, Destruction, and Emptiness. It was boundless and vast.
Before this Final Tribulation, every calamity Qi WuHuo had ever faced or heard of was insignificant.
One was a calamity that arose from the desires of the Human Heart; the other was born from the turning and transformation of the entire world. There was no comparing the two. One was merely considered a great tribulation, while the other was the end of all calamities, the end of all things in the world—the Final Tribulation.
The Daoist did not remain submerged in the tremendous shock. He quickly composed himself and asked:
"May I ask, Teacher, how can a Final Tribulation like this be overcome?!"
A hint of approval appeared in the Emperor End-Tribulation Celestial Venerable's eyes.
Then he said calmly, "The Final Tribulation is the ultimate destination of all things. Everything releases energy. Living beings give off simple heat, while the sun and stars blaze with fire. As more and more cultivators appear and swallow more vital energy, they release more and more energy. In the end, these forces accumulate until they are enough to set the Six Realms ablaze."
