Geography
The Origin Continent is a vast, heavily rule-suppressed landmass, described as many times larger than the World of Jin. Even True Gods cannot fly freely there. 207
| Region / Location | Details |
|---|---|
| Snow Realm Territory | Zhou Lin's landing point after traversing the reincarnation passage; located not far from the Yan Feng Ancient Kingdom. 205 207 |
| Yan Feng Ancient Kingdom | One of the two dominant ancient kingdoms; its territory includes dangerous wildernesses and heavily defended imperial cities. 207 209 |
| Yan Feng Capital | A major city in Bei Zhi Chaos Province, where Eternal True Gods enter through designated sections of the city wall while weaker cultivators queue through thirty-six gates. 208 209 |
| Dust Country | A desolate region with a single large city; Li Zhou God King occupied the former Snow Realm territory from here. 211 212 |
| Central Region | The rising divine palace affected an area nearly a trillion light-years across, encompassing numerous kingdoms and parts of both ancient kingdoms. 257 |
| Heavenly Pillar Realm | A treasure land containing four Sky Pillars carved with secret runes of immense World profundity. 229 |
| Three Thousand Cosmic Seas | Cosmic regions forming part of the Origin World's fundamental structure; God Emperors cannot destroy them. 239 |
World Structure and Rules
- The Origin Continent is an Origin World whose fundamental structures include the continent itself, the Three Thousand Cosmic Seas, the three thousand Primordial Universes, and the Miniature Universes of True Gods and higher beings. 239 243
- It imposes a power limit around the peak Ultimate Realm. Higher-level Primal Chaos beings or World-class Primal Chaos can exceed this restraint. 202
- One second on the Origin Continent is equivalent to 10,081 seconds in the Cosmic Sea. 202
- A day on the continent is equivalent to one Earth year. 244
- The World Origin Great Dao has four documented branches: World, Reincarnation, Chaos, and Life and Death. 211
- The continent's natural suppression makes local combat unusually destructive; unrestricted clashes between God Kings could shatter vast Chaos States. 212
- Its Origin cannot be casually damaged by native conflict, but destruction of most land structures and widespread extinction can destabilize Miniature Universes and prematurely end the Reincarnation era. 239
Cultivation Environment
The Origin Continent is dominated by the Primal Chaos Bloodline Flow, while Dao Comprehension practitioners—particularly soul-path cultivators—are exceptionally rare. 211 213
- Bloodline cultivation is widespread among Chaos Realm practitioners and God Kings, despite its dependence on external resources and bloodlines. 225
- Dao Comprehension cultivators are scarce enough that the two ancient kingdoms require Law Comprehension practitioners even for guest-elder positions. 225
- The continent has no established Void Realm Dao inheritance; Zhou Lin's illusory-world and soul methods are therefore regarded as alien and difficult to understand. 213 217
- The environment does not emphasize cultivation of the heart; many Bloodline Flow God Kings are stated to possess only second-tier mental realms. 120
- The Cosmic Sea permits only obscure comprehension of the Life Origin Great Dao, making the continent a far more significant destination for high-level cultivation. 251
Society and Governance
| Power / Group | Position on the Continent |
|---|---|
| Yan Feng Ancient Kingdom | One of the two ancient powers that long dominated the continent and monopolized major treasure lands. 225 235 |
| Thunder Ancient Kingdom | The other dominant ancient power; its Progenitor and Yan Feng Progenitor sought to preserve the existing order. 237 239 |
| Cang Yuan Country | Zhou Lin's independent faction, later proclaimed Cang Yuan Ancient Country amid a three-way struggle for continental power. 221 239 |
| Reincarnation Small Building | A loose faction including Empress Fengdu and several God Kings hostile to the ancient kingdoms. 216 |
The two ancient kingdoms are described as having treated the Origin Continent as a private garden, forcing God Kings to compete ruthlessly for resources while Primal Chaos Bloodline cultivation proliferated. 235
Violence against weaker lifeforms is commonplace: Chaos Realm cultivators may devour entire cities, God Kings plunder wilderness populations, and some rulers capture trillions of beings at once. 211
History
Rise of the Ancient Kingdoms
Yan Feng Progenitor and Thunder Ancestor rose from humble origins during an earlier era of continental conflict. After reaching the Ultimate Realm, they outlasted or destroyed their rivals and ruled the Origin Continent for several Reincarnation eras. 244
Zhou Lin's Arrival
Zhou Lin entered through the reincarnation passage after reaching the Universe God level, arriving in Snow Realm Territory. The passage is the practical route to the continent; even Void True Gods could not reach it by ordinary flight before epochs ended. 205
Soon after arriving, Zhou Lin killed the Snow Realm Progenitor, a top-ten sinner whose Life Origin Great Dao abilities had allowed him to survive despite immense crimes. 207 The killing destabilized the continental balance and began Zhou Lin's conflict with established powers. 216
Cang Yuan's Expansion
Zhou Lin rejected Empress Fengdu's invitation to join Reincarnation Small Building, declaring his intention to establish an independent faction. 216 Cang Yuan Country subsequently attracted defecting God Kings, seized surrounding territory, and began expanding against kingdoms affiliated with Yan Feng Ancient Kingdom. 224 230
Cang Yuan's internal policy prohibited Primal Chaos Bloodline cultivation for sub-God King members, instead recruiting and cultivating Law Comprehension Flow practitioners. 237
Continental War
Yan Feng Progenitor and Thunder Ancestor attempted to eliminate Zhou Lin because Cang Yuan Ancient Country threatened their control and sought to establish a new continental order. 237 239 Their conflict escalated into a three-way power struggle involving Cang Yuan Ancient Country, the two ancient kingdoms, and the Eastern Extreme Domain's forces. 239
Major Phenomena and Treasure Lands
Infinite Space
Infinite Space is a treasure land entered through a token that disappears after activation and reappears randomly elsewhere on the continent. Its random distribution prevents the two ancient kingdoms from monopolizing it completely. 217
- It contains inheritances, territories, and opportunities for God Kings. 217
- Nineteen Origin Great Daos are sealed within it. 217
- Its value is diminished on the Origin Continent because Bloodline Flow cultivation is so prevalent. 217
Heavenly Pillar Realm
The Heavenly Pillar Realm contains Sky Pillars bearing secret runes with mysteries at the level of an Origin World. 229
- Its World Pillar was the first one Zhou Lin meditated upon. 229
- The realm contains dangerous areas, scattered God Kings, treasures, and ancient remnants. 229
- Entry defies the wishes of the two Progenitors, who can only wait outside to intercept those leaving. 229
Central Divine Palace
A colossal palace began emerging beneath the continent's center after an inexplicable fluctuation guided God Kings toward it. 254
- The palace is as vast as an ordinary third-rate kingdom and contains Ultimate Realm inheritances, secret treasures, and remains of innate Primal Chaos lifeforms. 254
- It is surrounded by overlapping chaotic space-times and a black sea that confronts visitors with their deepest fears. 257
- Only thirty God Kings can enter, determined by who reaches it first. 257
Faith and the Origin World
Zhou Lin's faith-spreading campaigns drew the attention of Yan Feng Progenitor. Yan Feng understood that if most life within an Origin World believed in one being, that individual could become the world's lord. 243
However, Yan Feng considered this path impractical on the Origin Continent because its populated structure extends beyond the continent itself to the Cosmic Sea, three thousand dimensions, Primordial Universes, and innumerable Miniature Universes. 243
