The Terror of Asura in Asura Purgatory

Asura Purgatory—the terror of Asura.

Asura Purgatory, the First Forbidden Ground.

...It could be regarded as a spatial world beneath the Asura Purgatory Field. It was merely somewhat smaller than the world above, estimated to be only about half the size of a Dao Territory World.

This place was likewise filled with blood-red and purple mist, the purple mist pervading every corner with an even greater density than above. Some regions were covered in red mist, while others were covered in purple mist. It was exceedingly strange.

At the center of this entire land stood a tallest mountain. Around it swirled dense purple mist, and along the edges of that purple mist lay nine great lakes. The lakes were filled with dark-red, viscous liquid that radiated a terrifying bloody baleful aura.

Suddenly, almost at the same instant, the placid surfaces of all nine lakes stirred.

"Gurgle, gurgle, gurgle!"

A string of bubbles rose up, followed by the entire lake surfaces churning violently. At the center of each lake, a vortex formed, and from within the vortex, a head slowly emerged... then shoulders, an upper body, and a lower body. It was a figure clad in Blood-colored Armor—

This lifeform was roughly similar in build to ordinary beings, with two hands, two legs, and one head. Yet it also had a black tail resembling a chain of sharp spikes.

Nine figures emerged from the lakes simultaneously. Every one of them wore blood-red armor, though they wielded different weapons: sabers, swords, spears, halberds, sickle-like ge, lances, axes, long whips, and more. Each wore a black mask, somewhat discordant against the red covering their bodies. The eyes visible beneath those masks were scarlet, devoid of all emotion and color.

These were the Asura Demons of the First Forbidden Ground.
