On the surface, the situation seemed to have shifted as naturally as flowing water. In truth, Lei Dong had played no small part behind the scenes. First, he had killed the Insect Emperor; then he had befriended the Evil Phoenix and the Netherworld Ghost Emperor. Finally, he had introduced the idea of creating Top Grade Spirit Ghosts.

If the Netherworld Ghost Domain stopped warring among itself and was the first to unite into an alliance, Lei Dong would gain not only a wealth of resources, but also a powerful group of allies. This would add a hefty chip to his future plans and prove a tremendous help to his development.

Of course, Lei Dong would not be the only one to benefit. If the Three Races of the Netherworld Ghost Domain united, it would greatly benefit them as well, allowing them to rest, recover, and grow stronger instead of needlessly wasting vast resources and military strength on internal strife.

Even so, plenty of problems remained. If the various forces in the Netherworld Domain formed an alliance, what chain reaction would that set off in the other domains and prefectures? Could it become the spark that ignited a war between the domains?
