"The Moon Guards are finished. Another elite army of the Winged God Clan has fallen. But Lei Dong, your five thousand Hidden Dragon Soldiers must have lost at least two thousand, right? And you're not even heartbroken?" Seeing the two armies locked in combat, King of Judgment looked pained. But she understood that this was a war staged for King of Holy Radiance—and even the Lord of the Abyss—to see. Lei Dong couldn't afford to go easy on the Moon Guards.
"Two thousand?" A faint smile tugged at Lei Dong's lips. "I admit the Moon Guards are formidable, but the idea that they could cost me two thousand Hidden Dragon Soldiers is nothing but a joke."
King of Judgment, however, thought little of Lei Dong's arrogance. The Hidden Dragon Army was indeed powerful, its overall strength several times greater than that of the Moon Guards. But the Moon Guards' might was plain for all to see. When fighting desperately against an enemy, it was only natural they would tear a huge chunk out of the Hidden Dragon Army.
Thousands of men unleashed the Netherworld Great Law at once. Across the battlefield, which stretched dozens of miles in every direction, all was pitch-black, as if it had plunged into a pool of thick ink. The Moon Guards refused to be outdone; they erupted in milky-white radiance, driving back the dense Black Mist. Their white armor, powered by formations and energy, also flashed with bursts of holy light.
But that only turned them into one electric light after another in the night, blindingly bright. At the same time, there were so many of these bright lights that before they could even find a target and strike back, they sensed through their spiritual awareness that the enemy's numbers seemed to have suddenly multiplied.
