"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh..."
A few chill winds swirled between heaven and earth. The light across the entire Primordial World dimmed, filling everything with a bone-chilling gloom. A series of mighty, fetal-like thuds rang out through the world. "Thump, thump, thump..." Their strange rhythm matched the heartbeat of every living being, pressing down on them until they could hardly bear it.
"Roar!" "Roar!" "Roar!"...
Faint, indistinct beastly roars came from within that "Heaven," carrying a murderous intent that spread through the air.
The Main Body's cold, golden eyes suddenly shot out two dazzling beams of light. Mysterious threads surfaced in his eye sockets, and the entire expanse of "Heaven" slowly turned transparent. A phantom beastly face, savage and ferocious beyond measure, appeared in the Main Body's field of vision.
"ROAR!!!"
The whole expanse of "Heaven" trembled violently. Countless strange runes flickered, and gradually, a beastly face like a mask fully took shape.
More precisely, it was half a beastly face, as if someone had cleaved it cleanly down the middle. One half was black mist, while the other was the face of a beast. Its half-face was covered in azure snake scales, and its teeth were a deathly white. Most terrifying of all was the single eye on that half-face. Its pupil was made up of countless Eyes of the Heavenly Dao, enough to scare a person to death. It was hideously ugly and savage.
The beast's eye glinted coldly, utterly merciless and ruthless. This was not the Main Body's kind of cold indifference, which simply ignored anything that did not concern his own interests. It was the mercilessness of viewing all living beings as ants, of being willing to slaughter all creation and erase every living thing without reason or cause. A single glance was enough to make one shiver
