Rustle!
Just as Bruno's finger pistol was about to pierce Iceberg, he suddenly froze.
Several thin snakes made of brown sand coiled tightly around his body and arms, stopping him from moving another inch.
Bruno followed the sand snakes with his gaze and looked behind him. A white-haired girl with twin ponytails held a staff, from one end of which several slender snakes, each as thick as two fingers, stretched out.
The move binding him had clearly come from her.
"Do you always start a fight without even saying hello?" Lina said, displeased. If you weren't going to play fair, what was I supposed to do?
Mage Undead pushed off the ground with her toes and leaped lightly into the air, landing in front of Bruno and Iceberg.
"Iron Body!"
Bruno tensed his whole body, which suddenly swelled, bursting through the restraints.
Then he vanished again, retreating to Robin's side. He frowned as he looked at Mage Undead.
The intelligence had mentioned a girl who sometimes appeared with them, but it hadn't said anything about her strength.
He had just used "Shave" to burst forward at high speed, yet she had reacted in time. Her attack had even kept pace with him.
"Is she your new crewmate?"
Bruno's voice was low, his gaze wary. "She looks pretty strong. This is going to take some effort."
"What effort?"
Lina mocked him outright. "With skills like yours, this'll be over in no time."
"Heh. Black Snake Lina."
Bruno pulled his thick arms from beneath his cloak. "You're certainly confident. I'll show you the martial arts I gained through training—techniques that surpass the limits of humanity."
"Those moves from earlier?"
Lina was genuinely interested in these unusual techniques. She studied him with keen interest. "You want to dance, huh? Go on, show us."
