A huge mass of flame exploded and expanded, its terrifying blaze instantly filling the entire corridor.
Nami, fighting in the courtyard, instinctively looked over. A thick pillar of intertwined orange and red flames, carrying a violent surge of energy, burst out of the corridor's exit.
The zombies by the entrance were instantly swallowed up. The green lawn turned into a scorched wasteland in the blink of an eye, and a merciless wave of heat swept through, burning everything to ash.
Then the flames seemed to come alive, parting to either side as the outlines of two figures, one tall and one short, emerged from within.
Lina, dressed in blue with blond hair, slowly walked out of the sea of fire. Behind him, a white serpent curled into a ring, swallowing its own tail, while three tomoe drums stood above his head and at either shoulder.
