Layer upon layer of purple light stacked up like a spring. Fujitora swung his blade toward the sky, launching a beam of gravitational light.
Lina could see through his opponent's move at a glance.
Sure enough.
A moment later, the sky darkened.
In an instant, everyone on the island looked up.
"Look at the sky!"
"What is that?!"
"Two suns?!"
In the terrified eyes of the civilians, a blazing red meteor, hot as the sun and radiating an aura of destruction, plummeted from the sky!
"Run!"
"How can there be a meteor?!"
The threat of the meteor sent the entire island into an uproar. People fled in every direction, scrambling over one another!
Lina glanced up, then paid it no further attention. He teased Fujitora, "You're even using a move like that. Aren't you afraid of hitting the civilians?"
"I have it under control. You, on the other hand, seem to care about the civilians in the middle of a fight."
Fujitora held his sword at his waist, stepped forward with his right foot, and took an iaido stance. Then he rushed ahead in a single stride. "That's not what I'd heard about the Black Serpent."
"When fighting an admiral, who has time to worry about whether civilians might get caught up in it?"
Lina spread his hands. The shadow beneath his feet eerily split in two and stretched forward. Grinning, he said, "I was just making fun of you."
Clap!
As Fujitora entered their range, Lina brought his hands together!
"Shadow Fang!"
Rows of black spearpoints emerged from the two shadows, biting down like a pair of crossed rows of fangs!
Shing!
Fujitora drew his sword with lightning speed. His clean, decisive draw cut roared like a tiger in the mountains, unstoppable.
"Gravity Sword: Moon Tiger!"
Clang! Clang! Clang!
