There was no wind in the valley, yet the flames suddenly grew fiercer, spiraling into a gigantic ring that shot into the sky.
The firestorm swirled around Ace and Luffy as massive fire dragons emerged from within it.
Their fearsome heads bared their fangs and claws, glaring furiously at Luffy!
"Great Flame Ring: Ghost Fire!!"
Wrapped in flames, Ace raised both hands and shouted.
As he thrust his palms downward, he controlled the fire dragons as if performing a dragon dance, sending them whirling and diving toward Luffy!
Waves of heat rushed at him. Luffy hovered in midair, facing upward.
The flames reddened his face. His gaze was wary; he had no doubt about the ferocity of the energy within them. Gritting his teeth, he compressed both fists into his arms like springs.
"Gomu Gomu..."
Four fire dragons lunged from the east, west, north, and south, closing in to tear him apart.
Luffy immediately unleashed the power he had stored up and let out a roar. Countless fierce punches blasted toward the dragons!
"King Kong Gun!!"
It was like dozens, even hundreds, of cannonballs exploding at once, blossoming into a black firework in the sky!
The powerful shockwave whipped up a gale. The howling punches tore holes through the fearsome dragons' bodies.
Yet with Ace fueling them, the blazing flames burned on without end.
Just as Luffy managed to blast them apart, furious flames surged from the broken sections, gathering into snarling dragon heads that continued their assault.
"This is trouble."
Luffy's voice was heavy. He struck again, blowing one fire dragon apart, then pulled his arm back.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Then, shockwaves burst rapidly from beneath his feet, propelling him forward at tremendous speed.
"It's no use, Luffy! Where do you think you can run?"
