"Lina! Nami!"
A shout rang out from nearby and grew louder. Lina turned her head and saw several figures rushing toward them in a panic.
Chopper, Usopp, and the others were among them, along with several of Whitebeard's commanders.
Far behind them, clouds of dust billowed into the sky, and a vast army could be seen advancing in the distance.
"Run! The King's Army is chasing us!"
Usopp shouted as he ran. The commotion caught the attention of everyone nearby.
"They're not giving us a moment to rest."
"Should we retreat, Captain? We didn't get anything out of this."
"Well, it can't be helped. We're pirates, after all. We showed up uninvited in someone else's palace and left a huge mess behind."
Marco rubbed his forehead and sighed with a smile. "Grab whatever you can, and get the injured ready to leave."
"Got it, Captain."
Before long, Whitebeard's crew began evacuating the palace.
"The King's Army?" Lina looked toward them, puzzled.
At the very front of the army was a white-haired man dressed as a sword fighter, with a blue cape draped over his shoulders.
Rebecca and another man, who wielded two swords and had only one leg, were beside him.
Chasing them?
Had there been some kind of misunderstanding? Lina had a pretty good idea who they were: King Riku and Kyros.
"Never mind. Let's go too." Lina smiled faintly, turned around, and carried Nami on her back before leaping after the retreating group.
"Wait, Lord Lina!"
Rebecca reached out and called with all her strength, but could only watch as Lina and the others left without looking back. It seemed they had no intention of getting involved with them again.
