In the East Blue, in an unremarkable corner of the Kingdom of Goa, lay the little port town of Foosha Village.

The Party Bar, run by Makino, was particularly lively that day.
The villagers sat around table after table, each holding wanted posters or newspapers, stunned by what they saw.
"Let's raise a toast to Luffy and Lina!"
A middle-aged man climbed onto the bar, holding a huge mug of beer in each hand as he shouted excitedly.
The villagers raised their glasses together, cheering with delight.
"Cheers!!" they chorused.
"Hey, Sid, that son of yours is ridiculously strong!"
"Exactly! He's a Sea Emperor, just like Whitebeard!"
"3.6 billion Beli! Sid, selling your son would earn you way more than selling fish."
"Hahahaha!!"
Everyone at the table roared with laughter.
A balding middle-aged man in a plain blue T-shirt laughed along with them.
His face was slightly flushed with drink, and it was clear he was having a wonderful day.
The man's name was Sid. He was an ordinary fishmonger, nothing unusual in this little port town.
His only claim to fame was his remarkably successful adopted son, one of the very people everyone was discussing.
