The others were puzzled, and a little annoyed by this interruption.
"Who's that? Why should we run? We're enjoying our meal."
Luffy, sitting near the door, scratched his head, stood up with his hands on his hips, and shook his head.
"I'm not going."
"You're not?!" the attendants and geisha exclaimed, dumbfounded. They quickly tried to explain again.
"M-my apologies, sir, but I said the shogun is here."
For a business, it was only natural to avoid a fight on the premises. They didn't dare defy Orochi, but they didn't want him causing trouble, either.
"So what if he's here? We can share some of our food with him. That should be fine, right?"
Luffy sat back down, grabbed more food, and stuffed it into his mouth. He gave the attendants a reassuring look and mumbled,
"Don't worry. We've got money to pay for it."
