Chopper emerged from behind the rocks on his short little legs, still looking shaken.
The others had been cheering a moment ago, but when Crocodile suddenly erupted with power, they'd immediately cowered and hidden.
Now that their opponent was truly down, they weren't excited at all. Instead, they watched him warily.
Lina didn't waste a moment. She tore off a piece of clothing, wrapped it around her hand, then took out a pair of Seastone handcuffs she'd prepared earlier and cuffed Crocodile.
"That's it. We're in the clear now."
After calling out to everyone, Lina slumped down where she stood and let out a long breath. She took a cigarette from the pocket on the front of her blue shirt and lit it.
She glanced at Crocodile lying on the ground with interest. A power-up like that was great. Without it, she might've thought less of this template.
"Phew~~, I'm exhausted."
Seeing that, Luffy immediately ended Second Gear, dropped onto his butt, and leaned back on his hands.
"I'm starving. I want meat!" His face looked dejected, and he simply lay down, seeming half-dead.
Using Second Gear drained his stamina at an incredible rate. Every time he used it, he was left completely exhausted, and using it too often even risked shortening his lifespan.
At that moment, he couldn't think about anything except eating meat.
Usopp came running back from a distance, shouting as he went,
"Well? Well? You know how amazing I am now, right?!"
He strode along, cheering excitedly, his face brimming with pride.
Actually, he hadn't expected to hit Crocodile at all. Even after firing, his hands had kept trembling.
When he'd
