Yayoi obtained Kusagakure’s secret records about the Box of Bliss and began excavating its hiding place, while Madara sent White Zetsu to capture the Natural Energy users attacking Kusagakure. The chapter ended as a flame appeared deep beneath the ground where Yayoi was digging.

• Madara identified the strange energy sensed by White Zetsu as Natural Energy and ordered him to bring the attackers back for inspection.
• Yayoi silently killed the masked guards, stole a scroll containing the Box of Bliss’s seal and opening technique, and set out for its location.
