The moonlight was hazy over the Marine base.
It was already nine at night, but the entire base was brightly lit, with many elite Marines patrolling the grounds.

Four figures appeared out of thin air, making no attempt to conceal themselves.

The patrolling Marines immediately raised their flintlock rifles, looking wary.
"Hmph. We wish to see Saint Roswald and Princess Idoria."
A cool, haughty voice came from beneath a mask, putting the Marines under considerable pressure.

The commotion quickly drew people from other directions. Leading them was a captain.

Unlike the less experienced Marines, the captain clearly knew of the CPO.
"Where are Saint Roswald and Princess Idoria staying?"
Stussy wore a mask. Her eyes were utterly indifferent, and her tone was a command.
"Please follow me, honored guests."
The captain didn't dare stop them. He had seen these four earlier that day, though there had been five then. Now there were four, and they were carrying suitcases.
Under the captain's guidance, Stussy and the others wound their way into the heavily guarded residential district. The most luxurious building there was surrounded by numerous guards in black suits, as well as Marines.
"Have the two of them gone to bed?"
Stussy looked coolly at the head of the guard detail.
"Honored guests, Saint Roswald and Princess Idoria haven't gone to bed yet. I'll inform them right away."
"Make it quick."
"Yes, ma'am."
As a guard went inside to report their arrival, Stussy exchanged a glance with Chaos beside her.
That's right. Of the four, only the octopus CPO agent was the real deal. The others were Stussy, Chaos, and Crocodile, all impostors.
