Poppy Island lay in the New World!
It was shaped like a palm, with five small islands representing the fingers and a medium-sized island in the middle.
Nearly seventy percent of the land on the five finger islands was devoted to growing poppies and other medicinal herbs.
Almost forty percent of the world's drugs and medicines came from here.
It was also the stronghold of the Charming Woman, Medusa.
A large number of merchant ships and other vessels could be seen docked at the harbor, with workers hauling supplies. There were also many pirate ships, and even a warship.
They had all come to buy or trade.
As a result, the central island was incredibly prosperous, with countless entertainment venues such as taverns and casinos. It was a paradise for pirates, thugs, and the wealthy.
Especially at night, it became a true den of indulgence.
Yet beneath this luxurious paradise lurked all manner of darkness.
In garbage dumps and shadowy alleys, countless emaciated people could be seen. Some had been dead for a long time, their bodies being gnawed on by rats and wild dogs.
It was a place where heaven and hell coexisted.
And the woman who controlled the island was the Charming Woman, Medusa.
She amassed wealth beyond the dreams of kings through drugs and medicines, and used them to control others and make them work for her.
For instance, she could get the Marines to move by using the Celestial Dragons.
As long as the rewards were great enough, there was nothing she couldn't control.
On Poppy Island, and throughout the underworld, the Charming Woman was the undisputed Empress.
Both the underworld and the legitimate world had to show her respect.
The town lay protected by the surrounding islands. Halfway up the mountain was a vast sea
