Crack!
Brrrraaaack!!!
Black clouds hung upside down as streaks of black-and-red lightning bathed Poppy Island.
Prometheus burned like the sun overhead, bringing a touch of warmth to the scene lit by Thunderclap Flash—though that warmth was rather scorching.
Some places had already begun to melt and catch fire.
The whole island was watching the two tall figures at the center, one taller than the other. Their Conqueror's Haki churned the wind and clouds, colliding again and again. The air was thick with pressure.
They stared each other down, both with a hint of solemnity in their eyes!
After only a few brief clashes, they had already realized that the other was no pushover.
Honestly, setting aside monsters like Sengoku and Garp, Chaos would rather face opponents like Katakuri, Sakazuki, or Borsalino. The gap between them wasn't that great, so he could fight to his heart's content.
Against top-tier powerhouses like Sengoku, though, he would be completely outclassed.
For a truly thrilling, exhilarating battle, you needed an opponent on your level—or one whose pressure was still within what you could handle. Katakuri, standing right before him, was exactly the sort of opponent who made Chaos itch for a proper fight.
Katakuri felt the same way, though he was even angrier.
Chaos had crossed a line.
Though Katakuri seemed aloof and cold on the outside, he cared deeply for his family and subordinates. He was the kind of man who was cold on the outside but warm within.
He was also composed, exceptionally capable of handling sudden crises, and possessed tremendous battle intelligence.
He disliked others interfering in his fights. Even when facing a formidable opponent, he showed them great respect and wanted to determine the victor fairly.
But this was different. Chaos had killed the family member he cared about most.
