Trapped inside the Birdcage, Borsalino launched an attack. He swiped his left hand across the back of his right, conjuring a lightsaber, then swung it at the black-and-gold Birdcage.
The Heavenly Cloud Sword, with its tremendous cutting power, failed to leave so much as a mark on the Birdcage.
Chaos's Armament Haki was already at the third stage, while Borsalino's was only at the second. Whether in hardness or any other regard, it couldn't do much damage.
Bzzzzzz!
A sea of golden sand surged toward Borsalino. It might not do much damage, but it could form ropes to bind him.
At the same time, the Birdcage began to contract, black-and-gold spikes jutting from its inner walls as the space steadily shrank.
If the Birdcage hadn't trapped Borsalino, Chaos really wouldn't have had any way to deal with him. Unfortunately, there was no "if."
The moment the Birdcage came down, Borsalino failed to react in time. His fate was sealed then and there.
The other Marines had already been taken control of by the golden powder. They were of no use and had been separated from Borsalino.
Gradually, cold sweat began to appear on Borsalino's face. The space kept shrinking, and despite using every trick at his disposal, he still couldn't break out of the cage.

Just as Borsalino unleashed his ultimate move, Chaos shifted sideways and merged into the Birdcage. A long golden sword appeared in his right hand. As Armament Haki covered it, a layer of black-and-gold liquid rippled over its surface. Just looking at it, you could feel its deadly power.
"Damn it!"
Seeing the sword slash toward him from so close, Borsalino was forced to stop his attack. He flashed aside, trying to dodge.
