"Captain, we should retreat too."
Rayleigh flashed to Roger's side, with Scopper Gaban and the others following.
Now that Roger had heard the information on the remaining two Road Poneglyphs, there was no need to hang around here.
No matter what, they had achieved their goal.
The situation was complicated. The Navy had its eyes on them, the Richest Group was lurking nearby, and Kaido was another damn nuisance. There were just too many variables.
It was much like the Battle of Edowar Sea back then—except the situation was even worse for them.
The Navy had sent out its entire force. Kong, Sengoku, Garp, and Zephyr were each a mountain in their own right.
Roger held his long blade, lost in thought.
Even if Rayleigh hadn't brought it up, he had no interest in wasting time here.
The Navy was thinking it over too. The situation was actually worse for them, simply because they were the Navy and belonged to a different faction.
Kaido and Golden Emperor weren't exactly sane. There was no telling when they might attack the Navy.
If that happened, the Navy would be caught between three sides, and things could get dangerous.
But the Navy couldn't leave empty-handed this time. The Roger Pirates posed far too great a threat. They had to be eliminated here.
"Golden Emperor, Kaido, our target is only the Roger Pirates. This has nothing to do with either of you!"
Kong wasn't willing to give up. He tried to talk Chaos and Kaido into withdrawing.
"Hahaha!"
"I don't care who your target is. None of you three sides are leaving so easily today."
Kaido glared coldly as he pointed his spiked kanabo at Roger, Kong, and Chaos one by one. His arrogance rivaled Chaos's.
That was too much!
Chaos was instantly displeased.
