Black clouds blanketed the sky, and fierce winds swept across the sea, making the churning waves even more violent.
The rain came down in torrents. Streaks of pale lightning illuminated Marineford, making it look almost nightmarish.
"What's going on?"
"The weather changed all of a sudden."
Gales and torrential rain rampaged through the harbor, battering all of Marineford.
Many Marine officers had a bad feeling about this.
"This is Marineford. How could the weather turn like this?"
"I have a terrible feeling about this."
Winds rose and clouds gathered as the entire sky seemed to rage. Gales tore through the town, making it almost impossible to breathe.
"Look up!"
"How is this possible?"
Many Marines looked up at the sky, nearly scared out of their wits. In the storm, a black speck appeared and steadily grew larger.
All of Marineford was alarmed. Countless people watched the sky, their hearts gripped with terror.
Buzz, buzz, buzz!!!
It was as if a hole had opened in the sky. An enormous object, unlike anything imaginable, plunged down at incredible speed, sunlight spilling around it as a deafening roar filled the air.
The heart-pounding crash of its descent grew closer. Many terrified Marines stumbled to the ground, their eyes filled with fear.
"A meteor!"
"It's an island—no, wait. Why is an island falling from the sky?"
A massive shock wave swept over them. A Rear Admiral roared,
"What do we do? What do we do? We're doomed!"
Faces deathly pale, everyone rushed around like headless flies. If that island in the sky struck Marineford, it would be nothing short of a natural disaster.
