They were moving so fast that only the sounds of their attacks reached the crowd; neither fighter could be seen.
Finally, they charged low across the ground and collided like meteorites. A towering ring of compressed air burst from their knees, collapsing everything for hundreds of thousands of meters around them.
They shot into the sky, where their extreme speed whipped the air into an explosion. The battle was a terrifying spectacle from start to finish.
Chaos threw a serious punch at Whitebeard's throat, every blow aimed to kill.
Whitebeard's battle experience was immense. Even after losing his left eye, he remained fearsome. His punch landed, and the force of the collision erupted in an instant. The tremendous impact made Chaos spit blood and sent him crashing to the ground like a cannonball.
Whitebeard forced himself to regain control in midair and pursued Chaos as he fell. A pressure shield enveloped his right foot as he drove it toward Chaos's chest.
At the last moment, Chaos quickly rolled over and braced himself with one hand, sweeping out a leg. Whitebeard lost his balance and had no choice but to cross his arms in front of his chest.
The enormous explosion sent Whitebeard flying.
