These weren't their real bodies.
Chaos, Crocodile, and Enel were merely controlling the figures remotely with their abilities. After all, this was Marineford. Crocodile might be arrogant, but he wasn't stupid enough to show up in person just to show off.
If he appeared in person, Sengoku and the others would attack without hesitation.
