"Not good!"
Sengoku's expression shifted. He rose from his chair, looking slightly anxious. "Notify everyone immediately! Don't let the Golden Rain touch you. Get inside the ship!"
With that, Sengoku left his office and went outside.
Borsalino and Momonga followed close behind.
"We're too late!"
Sengoku stepped outside and saw Golden Rain falling from the sky. Many Marines on deck had already been soaked. Without hesitation, he thrust a palm outward, sending a shock wave surging up and scattering the falling Golden Rain.
"Any Marine who's been hit by the Golden Rain, jump into the sea and wash it off! Hurry!"
After giving the order, Sengoku looked toward Post Island, as if he could see Chaos seated on his throne from here.
Their Observation Haki was already clashing.
As for why Sengoku had immediately ordered the Marines who'd been hit by the Golden Rain to jump into the sea, it came down to experience and knowing a thing or two.
The sea was full of all kinds of bizarre Devil Fruits, each with strange and varied abilities, but there was one rule none of them could escape: the sea.
When a technique was based on a Devil Fruit ability, taking a dip in the sea was always a safe bet.
"Quick! Hurry!"
Though many Marines didn't know why, Sengoku's orders were absolute, so plenty of them jumped straight into the sea.
And they weren't far from Post Island, so they could easily swim there.
But someone wasn't about to let the Marines get their way!
"Ahh!"
"What's going on?!"
"I can't control myself!"
Amid the cries of surprise and panic, many Marines who'd been hit by the Golden Rain shot skyward like cannonballs. Meanwhile, the Golden Rain Sengoku had scattered swept over the warship again, as if it were alive.
