The sound of a sharp weapon piercing flesh rang out, followed by a burst of blood. Ace's face twisted in agony as blood sprayed from his mouth. A golden spear had pierced through his chest from behind, its bloodied tip visible from the front.

And that wasn't the end.

A golden longsword pierced through his right chest as well.

Both the spear and the sword had appeared out of thin air, leaving no chance to defend against them!

Marco rushed forward and barely caught Ace as he fell from the sky.

The scalding blood stained his hands, burning hot.

Rayleigh and Bullet arrived, too. They stared at Ace, his back pierced by the spear and sword, his body drenched in blood as his life force rapidly faded.

"Gaia, you're looking to die!"

Like a devil, Bullet stared up at Chaos, his eyes filled with murderous intent.

Rayleigh held his sword at an angle, his gaze sharp as a blade.

"Demon Heir, Pluto, are you questioning This Emperor?"

Chaos looked down at them, his domineering royal aura pressing relentlessly against Rayleigh and Bullet.

That imperial disdain radiated from his very bones.

Fury surged through Rayleigh and Bullet. They both released their Conqueror's Haki and shot into the air, meeting Chaos's Haki head-on.

Katakuri appeared at the same time.

Three torrents of Conqueror's Haki bore down on Chaos, completely overwhelming him.

"Ace, hang in there!"

Marco was frantic. Flames of regeneration burned in his hands as he pressed them tightly against Ace's chest.

That was the only thing keeping Ace clinging to his last breath.

"Marco, get Ace out of here!"

Rayleigh's expression was grim.

Ace had been taken out in a single blow and was barely clinging to life. If they didn't want him to die, they had to
