"Gaia!"
Seeing one of his crewmates in such agony, Shanks attacked at once.
He swung Griffin, unleashing a towering Slash attack imbued with Armament Haki and surging Conqueror's Haki.
Yasopp raised his gun and fired without even aiming. The shot sent out six bullets, not one of which made so much as a whisper as it cut through the air. Every one hit its mark.
Chaos didn't so much as flinch.

But the worst was yet to come.
Golden spikes erupted from the middle of the spear, bursting out of Yasopp's body like the quills of a hedgehog. Blood drenched him.
There was no chance to save him.
His entire body had been pierced until it resembled a honeycomb, and his life signs vanished in an instant.
A phantom soul rose from his body.
Chaos grabbed it. Yasopp's expression at the moment of death remained clear; for a little while, he stayed conscious, unlike ordinary souls, which were dazed and mindless.
Shanks and the others saw it all.
"Gaia, let Yasopp go!"
"I'll kill you!"
"No!"
A torrent of murderous intent surged up. In Beckman and the others' eyes, two faces appeared
