"Compared to aliens, your BOSS's hometown is farther away and on a higher plane!"
"I don't even know if I'll ever make it back in this lifetime."
Chaos shook his head and sighed again.
He didn't actually want to return to Earth. Compared to the world of pirates, Earth was just too boring.
If he returned to Earth with his current power, he'd be a true god. The world of pirates, on the other hand, held all kinds of possibilities. Whether it was technology or strange abilities, it was all so colorful and varied.
Earth.
A world of mere mortals.
There was no comparison whatsoever.
Still, there was one strange possibility.
Going by the usual tropes in novels, Earth might be the center and starting point of all the worlds, occupying either the highest or the lowest dimension.
After all, the world of pirates was just a manga.
Sometimes Chaos wondered: if the world of pirates was a projection of a manga on Earth, did that mean other manga worlds existed too? Dragon Ball, Bleach, Naruto, for instance?
For all he knew, they might be right here in this universe.
That was why Chaos had Caesar research light-speed spaceships and all kinds of Cosmic Detectors—to see whether there were other anime or manga worlds out in the universe.
If there were, then things would get interesting.
"BOSS, you're not just making this up, are you?"
"Are you an alien from another galaxy or something?"
Betty pursed her lips, feeling that Chaos was talking nonsense.
After all these years of Caesar's observations of the universe, they had learned some basic astronomy.
They were all fascinated by the boundless starry sky above them.
The Milky Way.
That was the galaxy they currently lived in. Naturally, Chaos had come up with the name.
