Come to think of it, thanks to our tireless efforts, the Rebirth Club had recently become a household name, renowned both at home and abroad.

After changing back into Che Shunyong's appearance, Fu Qian headed back the way he'd come, silently marveling as he went.

His choice to use Old Master Lu's appearance earlier hadn't been purely out of mischief.

First, there was the matter of recognition. Old Master Lu's iconic look meant Andrew could look him up later and immediately realize he was an important figure in the Rebirth Club.

Besides, though the Rebirth Club wasn't officially banned, it was on the Night Watchers' radar.

The appearance of a core member of such an organization in Bosi, in that particular guise, was bound to provoke endless speculation. Perhaps there was some kind of cross-boundary collaboration?

That would make it impossible for the Night Watchers to ignore.

By the time Fu Qian returned to the original location, the colors in the sky had grown as vivid as an exploding hemorrhoid.

The people he passed along the way seemed mostly normal, but they were in a strange state of excitement. They had clearly been affected, if only slightly.

Fu Qian didn't waste any time. Following Li Min's earlier route, he walked into the cluster of buildings.

He had a vague suspicion now, and thought it was worth checking.

The ritual's effects were so conspicuous, and it had been going on for so long without being completed. The difficulty might have been beyond her, but Li Min couldn't have failed to realize how dangerous it was.

Yet she was still forcing the ritual to continue. Fu Qian sensed something strange about that.

It was proving difficult to complete—but was it possible that she had never intended to complete it at all?
