The bracelet was roughly the same size as the opening at the back of the eyeball.
The moment the two made contact, the latter reacted immediately.
Starting at the opening, it gradually turned translucent, until even the bloodstained vitreous inside was clearly visible.
Then the translucent mass of gel suddenly enveloped the bracelet.
Fu Qian let go, allowing the bracelet to sink slowly into the eyeball.
Nothing horrifying happened. The bracelet didn't even make a ripple, and the eyeball quickly returned to its normal state.
And that was it?
Fu Qian recalled the description of the Starry Sky Prism, leaned closer, and stared at the eyeball's enormous pupil.
No reaction at all?
Furrowing his brow, Fu Qian kept staring, unconvinced, not even overlooking the tiniest details in the iris.
After a staring contest that lasted half a minute, Fu Qian finally accepted the brutal truth.
His 180,000 was gone without a trace. It hadn't even made a splash.
What a rip-off!
Fu Qian sighed toward the heavens. Rather than lose his temper and punch the eyeball, he tried to work out what had gone wrong.
Could the effect have been too weak?
Judging by his past experience, Supernatural Items could differ in rank.
Take the stone lion he'd accidentally brought into being the last time he praised the sun. It had clearly been extremely fragile; the moment it entered the Warehouse, it had vanished without a trace.
So it was entirely possible that the bracelet wasn't very high-level, either.
Fortunately, Fu Qian had other things to try. He turned to look.
The next moment, he picked up the enormous full-length mirror and shoved it in front of the giant eyeball, photo and all.
He was actually quite curious about how the eyeball would swallow it.
He got his answer soon
