"What are you trying to do?"
As Daniel approached, Joseph looked like every hair on his body was standing on end.
What Daniel had done beneath the flash just now had been downright insane. The visual impact was truly overwhelming.
He instinctively looked around, but couldn't find anything he could use to defend himself.
Empty-handed and facing Daniel's burly frame, Joseph lost the courage to resist almost instantly.
"Guess."
The corner where Joseph had been hiding was behind the curtains at the back of the classroom. Now Daniel had him completely cornered, leaving him nowhere to run.
"I'm warning you. Don't make one mistake after another and commit an irredeemable crime."
Joseph tried to use his authority as a teacher to intimidate Daniel, but his breathless voice sounded unusually dry.
"Thank you for your concern."
At that, Daniel's smile grew even more exaggerated.
"May I ask why you're here?"
"I—"
Joseph clearly found the question difficult to answer.
"Just so you know, I'm not very patient right now."
Daniel interrupted his hesitation in a deeply threatening tone.
"I followed Media and found the message you left her."
Joseph gritted his teeth and finally spoke.
"You... disgusting creep!"
Though Media was unable to move, she was clearly still conscious. At Joseph's words, she shuddered and rasped out a shout.
"Disgusting? What gives you the right to call me that?"
Joseph was much more defiant with her, and immediately shouted back.
"All you ever think about is getting your own students into bed. You think I don't know?"
"I've been following you for ages. I know exactly what you're like."
Joseph's retort had clearly hit hard. Media fell silent at once.
"But I was the one you left out, wasn't I?"
Daniel gave a cold, snickering laugh, exposing Joseph's innermost thoughts.
