So just how big was the object of the Ancient Dragon's worship?
After sitting or leaning for half a minute, Fu Qian let out a heartfelt sigh.
The place he was in was a truly grand church-like building.
Unlike an ordinary church, though, there was neither a holy emblem nor a statue of a god at its very center. Instead, there was a golden chair even larger than a bed.
The chair's design was memorable, too, in its extreme plainness. There wasn't a single pattern or carving anywhere on it; all he could see were right angles.
Fu Qian had wanted to strike a pose that looked down on the world, but after giving it his best effort, he could only report that it was awkward beyond belief.
Still, the layout was so suggestive of some being descending onto the chair at any moment.
Was this legendary Ancient Dragon faith really so approachable that it met with its followers whenever it felt like it?
No wonder it had managed to leave behind so many ruins.
In any case, those two Soul Butterflies that had seemed utterly pointless to him had still yielded some valuable information.
One thing he'd learned was that he apparently didn't need to keep moving forward.
The Ancient Dragon's appearance might be accompanied by more Soul Butterflies, and, without a doubt, more hunters as well.
Next, he'd sit tight in the main hall and direct things from the comfort of his seat.
A moment later, Fu Qian, seated on the golden chair, sensed something and looked up.
It was a strange sensation. The towering dome should have blocked his view, yet he still saw a vast wing sweep across the sky, which blazed with endless light.
Not bad.
Was the legendary Ancient Dragon really being this cooperative?
