"What's wrong?"
Olyntel's reaction had given Mr. and Mrs. Wenlos quite a fright.
Based on what they knew of him, they could hardly imagine what could have scared Olyntel this badly.
He hadn't even come inside yet. He'd only glanced over from a distance.
Was the situation already this serious?
Despair and regret inevitably filled the couple's hearts.
And clearly, Natalie had reached the moment when her acting skills would be put to the test.
Fu Qian, who was almost at the very back, watched the tutor with an expectant look.
She didn't disappoint him.
Looking at her student with deep sorrow, Natalie's face was full of barely contained fury, and tears were nearly falling from her eyes.
"You..."
She was so choked up she could barely speak. But as the targets of her accusation, Mr. and Mrs. Wenlos seemed unable to understand the overwhelming emotion, despite their grief.
The situation still seemed obvious enough. Natalie thought their decision was wrong and would only waste their daughter's remaining life, so she'd gone straight to the order to report them.
Judging only by the outcome, it seemed she'd made the right call. But for a tutor, wasn't this reaction a little too intense?
And the whole process had happened unbelievably fast. The time between Natalie leaving and Olyntel showing up was so short that the only explanation seemed to be that Olyntel had happened to be strolling by.
But now wasn't the time to dwell on that. Mr. and Mrs. Wenlos only glanced at Natalie before turning their attention to Olyntel, like prisoners awaiting sentencing.
Unfortunately, he didn't even answer their question.
The next moment, Olyntel took two strides for every three and hurried to the bedside.
His exaggerated presence nearly startled the patient, who already had despair in her eyes.
